In addition to providing economic opportunity for our Avon Sales Representatives, we are committed to recognizing, empowering and advancing women within our own ranks. Our strategic focus on women's empowerment aligns with the nature of our products and expectations of our diverse customers and stakeholders, as well as with our core mission.

Avon's Associate Resource Groups
Originally launched in 1971 as “Employee Networks,” Associate Resource Groups (ARGs) are voluntary groups led by Avon Associates and sponsored by Avon to attract, develop and engage diverse Associates; to help build cultural awareness and understanding; and to advance our strategic business objectives.

The ARGs’ plans and goals are aligned with Avon’s broader business goals to ensure our company and participants gain the greatest benefit and opportunities from their efforts. ARGs partner with leadership teams to identify opportunities that positively impact the business and member Associates.

Participation of Associates in the ARG program has more than doubled since 2012. We currently have seven ARGs in the United States:

  • The Asian Network
  • Black Professionals Association (BPA)
  • AHORA Latino Network
  • PRIDE Network (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender)
  • Avon Women’s Empowerment (three groups)

ARGs are important enablers to advancing our diversity and inclusion commitment. The groups serve as conduits between Associates and management to share best practices, increase awareness about the business need for and impacts of a diverse workforce, and to develop a more inclusive workplace.
